Case Manager

Our multi-award-winning team are passionate about providing a client focused service at the highest standards throughout the U.K.

Case Management can be traced back over 100 years, with Nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists managing rehabilitation for clients with complex and catastrophic injuries.
Case Managers are now also guided with standards of practice by BABICM (British Association Brain Injury Case Managers) CMSUK (Case Management Society UK), VRA (Vocational Rehabilitation Association) as well as their own professional governing bodies. 

BABICM, CMSUK and VRA all identified a need for a professional body for Case Managers and IRCM (Institute of Registered Case Managers) was introduced in 2021. IRCM is still undergoing it's set up and endeavour to start registering Case Managers in 2022.  

 IRCM is a not-for-profit organisation whose role will be to safeguard all users of Case Management. They will do this by setting the professional standards expected from a Case Manager. The IRCM will also publish a register available to the public, of Case Managers that meet their requirements and fully commit to practice in line with their standards. This will also include providing processes in which any concerns regarding Case Managers can be reported, investigated and action taken if Case Managers do not meet the IRCM standards.

Circle Case Management welcome the introduction of IRCM, as a team that already provides supervision, development and very high professional standards. 

This is a positive move for all Case Managers to be working from the same set of standards, upholding a certain level of Case Management - all whilst providing a client-focused service
